No SMS for Sonakshi from “Sheila”!

The latest among the extremely sensationalized ‘Kat’ Fights in B- Town is rumored to be between the super sexy Katrina Kaif and the latest among the star kids Sonakshi Sinha, the daughter of the iconic Shatrugan Sinha.

Sonakshi who has been riding high on the blockbuster success of her debut film, opposite none other than Salman Khan, ‘Dabangg’, has supposedly been gloating about having replaced the lissome Katrina in a couple of Ad campaigns. She has reportedly even gone on record to claim that she has replaced Katrina ‘Sheila’ Kaif in some films as well.

Sonakshi though has a different story to tell. She has sent Katrina a text message as a peace offering clarifying her non-existent hand in these stories churned out by the rumour mills. But, it seems that Katrina is not in a forgiving mood right now as she has not responded at all. Sonakshi does not think the no-reply mode is intentional though. She says, “I don’t think so. She could be travelling or could be super busy. I’m not jumping to any conclusions. I’ll still wait for her reply. I have made myself clear.” when asked whether Katrina not replying is a sign that she is still angry.

Manyata Dutt and Kangana Ranaut fight

Mumbai: Once the two Bollywood stars were quite close, but now Manyata Dutt and Kangana Ranaut are foes. Apparently it all started when Kangana has made a rather unpleasant comment about the Dutt family. From what we have been able to find out, it seems that the latest comment made by the actress did not go that well with Mrs. Dutt. Apparently she is quite upset with the actress whom not so long ago was extremely close to Sanjay Dutt.

The time of their falling apart was the same as the time that the Bollywood actress decided to take the part in the movie productions Rascals and Double Trouble. Rumors are that Kangana did not even consider inviting the Dutt family at her birthday party. Not to mention that not even at the time of the special screening of the film Tanu Weds Manu, the Dutt family was not invited. On the other hand, Mrs. Dutt has helped Kangana on several occasions. Well, yet another friendship in tinsel town has gone bad.

Karan Johar won’t forgive Siddharth

Karan Johar seems to be one of those people in the industry who is friends with everybody worthy of being friends with from ShahRukh Khan to Ranbir Kapoor and Kajol to Deepika Padukone. Southern sensation Siddharth, who made a mark in Bollywood with his intense and brooding performance in ‘Rang De Basanti’, has however stepped on Karan Johar’s foot and is not about to be befriended or forgiven it seems.

These days everybody is on to some form of Social Networking and it so happened that both KJo and Siddharth happen to be a part of a socio-micro blogging website.

Now, it so happened that a fan of Siddharth informed him that he felt that the actor somewhat resembled director and talk show host, Karan Johar. This comment however was not taken as a compliment by Siddharth who wrote back asking the fan to get his eyesight checked and even suggested that the fan should get himself a pair of glasses.

Karan Johar understandably took offence and tweeted back to Siddharth saying “Didn’t know I looked that bad Sid! Apologies!”. In an effort to do some damage control, Siddharth immediately apologized and even praised the director. Karan though does not seem in the mood to forgive and forget.

Is ShahRukh aping Rajnikanth?

Both have seen unprecedented success in their respective industries of cinema. For many both ShahRukh Khan and Rajnikanth are no less than God himself. Sometime back Southern Superstar had come up with the super-duper blockbuster ‘Robot’ with Aishwarya Rai as his Co-star.

Now when the promos of ‘Ra One’, starring King Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal among others, have been released people have not stopped comparing them to those of Rajni’s film ‘Robot/Endhiran’. The polished rushes are being compared to any film of Rajni’s and ShahRukh’s super-hero act is being specifically compared to that of Rajni in ‘Robot’.

Allegedly when ‘Robot’ was released ShahRukh had a meeting with his creative team and wanted them to set ‘Endhiran’ as their standards to improve upon. A source completely rubbishes these rumours. He says “It’s silly of anyone to compare SRK and Rajni. The similarities end at the genre of cinema. Ra.One is a sci-fi superhero film, Robot was similar. However, the storylines are different, and Ra.One is as competent a film, and SRK is a good actor. A superhero will be stronger, faster and do the impossible. That’s what SRK is doing in Ra.One, that’s what Rajinikanth has done in Robot!”

SRK liked by Pakistan captain

Mumbai: We have recently found out that the captain of the Pakistan cricket team, none other than Shahid Afridi is a huge admirer of the Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan. This fact was brought to our knowledge by his younger brother, Javed Afridi, just as he was making his comments regarding the India-Pakistan cricket semi finals.

The brother of the Pakistan team captain also wanted to add that Shahid Afridi has seen all the movies of the Bollywood super star. Even more, it seems that Shahid liked the flick ‘My Name Is Khan’ at least a dozen times. Javed stated that was upset that SRK was not present in Mohali. “Shahid was upset that he missed a chance of meeting SRK. They have met a couple of times before though and he becomes like a star-struck kid every time.”

SRK also likes Shahid Afridi, as a while back he stated that “No matter how big a star I become, all the girls keep telling me ‘You are not like Shahid Afridi’.”
